Starting mode
Ramp boost starting: This starting mode is the simplest, does not have the current closed-loop control, only adjust the thyristor conduction Angle, so that it increases with a certain function relationship with time. However, due to the unlimited current, the thyristor is sometimes damaged by a large impulse current during the motor starting process, which has a great impact on the power grid and is rarely used in practice.
Slope constant current starting: The starting current gradually increases in the initial stage of motor starting, and remains constant when the current reaches the pre-set value until the starting is complete. During the starting process, the rate of current rise and change can be adjusted according to the motor load. This starting mode is widely used, especially for the starting of fan and pump loads.
Step jump: When starting up, the starting current quickly reaches the set value, that is, step jump. By adjusting the starting current setting value, the fast starting effect can be achieved.
Impulse impulse starting: At the beginning of starting, let the thyristor in a very short period of time, with a large current conduction for a period of time, fall back, and then rise linearly according to the original set value, connected to the constant current starting. This method is rarely used in general load, and is suitable for heavy load and need to overcome large static friction starting occasions.
