The #inverters that are often mentioned are generally low-voltage inverters, and low-voltage inverters are classified according to the power supply voltage, and are divided into single-phase inverters (single-phase 220V) and three-phase inverters (three-phase 380V, three-phase 220V).

1. The number of fire lines is different

The biggest difference between a single-phase #inverter and a three-phase inverter is that the single-phase inverter power supply is composed of a live wire and a neutral wire. The voltage is 220V. Because it is a live wire, it is called single-phase, while three-phase inverter. The inverter is a three-wire input, so it is called a three-phase inverter, also known as a three-phase electric input inverter.

2. Different output voltage

In addition, the output voltage of single-phase inverter is divided into single-phase output and three-phase output. It is only single-phase output, which is non-standard and easy to break. It is single-input and single-output. The standard is that single-phase inverter is single-phase input , three-phase output, and the three-phase output here will not exceed the power supply voltage.

single-phase input,

It means that the power supply input has only two lines (a neutral line and a live line), and the phase voltage of the input voltage is 220V.

three-phase input,

It means that the power supply input has three lines (three-phase three-wire) or four lines (three-phase four-wire), generally three-phase four-wire is relatively more. Input three live wires and one neutral wire, the phase voltage of each live wire to the neutral wire is 220V, and the line voltage between the three live wires is 380V.

When the power is the same, the current of the single-phase power supply is equal to the power/220V. If the power is 1000W, then the current is equal to 4.54A, and the current of each live wire of the three-phase power supply is equivalent to one-third of the total current, that is, 4.54/ 3=1.5A, so the requirements for wires are slightly lower, and thinner wires can be used.

It is worth noting that:

Three-phase power is generally only available in industrial power applications. Most household power only has single-phase power (one live wire and one neutral wire, plus a ground wire), so three-phase power supply inverters cannot be used. The #inverter with single-phase power supply can be used in places with three-phase four-wire power supply (connect one live wire and one neutral wire). Therefore, be sure to confirm the power supply of the location where it is installed and used before purchasing.
