We all know that the operation of the machine can be controlled by the switch, which is the medium for us to communicate with the machine, but the knowledge of various specifications of the switch is not widely known. It can be used on small kitchen appliances, such as microwave ovens, ovens, food mixers, and beauty care appliances, such as curling irons, and so on.

There are 7 basic types of our Zhejiang Shuyi switches, Rocker Switch ,Toggle Switch ,Micro Switch, Limit Switch, Foot Switch, mini switch and LED switch. The choice of switch type depends on the product type and the method of product activation.

In order to ensure product quality, the finished switch products will be inspected by professional certification bodies and certified. There will be different certifications for the standard system of different countries. Generally UL, CQC, ENEC and so on.

UL is the product safety test certification provided by the American certification body, ENEC is the unified certification mark of European countries; CQC is our quality certification for parts.

The basic structure of the switch

Rated voltage:

 refers to the safe voltage allowed by the switch during normal operation. If the voltage applied to both ends of the switch is greater than this value, it will cause a spark breakdown between the two contacts.

Rated current:

refers to the maximum safe current allowed to pass when the switch is turned on. When this value is exceeded, the contacts of the switch will be burned due to excessive current.

Insulation resistance:

 refers to the resistance value of the conductor part and the insulating part of the switch, and the insulation resistance value should be above 100MΩ.

Contact resistance:

 refers to the resistance value between each pair of contacts when the switch is on. Generally, it is required to be below 0.1-0.5Ω, and the smaller the value, the better.

Withstand voltage:

 refers to the highest voltage that the switch can withstand between the conductor and the ground.

Life:

refers to the number of times the switch can be operated under normal working conditions. The general requirement is about 5000-35000 times
